Join us in making a difference! Once again, HECA is excited to incorporate philanthropy into our annual conference. This year, we are thrilled to partner with After School Matters, a nonprofit in Chicago which provides 19,000 teens each year with paid after-school and summer programs. HECA is supporting their After School Matters University program to support teens in the college discovery and application process.

About After School Matters

After School Matters is a nonprofit organization that provides high-quality after-school and summer opportunities to Chicago public high school teens, helping them explore their passions and develop critical skills for work, college, and beyond. Programs are project-based, led by industry experts, and designed to foster independence and growth. Teens earn stipends while participating in programs across the arts, communications and leadership, sports, and STEM.
